These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and CCLL Digital Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (“CCLL,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), governing your access to and use of the Baguette VPN websites, applications, and VPN and related services (the “Services”). Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Notice for U.S. users: These Terms include a binding arbitration provision and class action waiver in Section 16. Please read it carefully.
We may modify these Terms (and related policies) at any time. The updated Terms are effective when posted on this page (or as otherwise stated). Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
We provide a virtual private network that encrypts traffic between your device and our network using WireGuard (or another configuration we supply). Availability, speed, capacity, and server locations may vary. Free and paid tiers have different limits, stated in Section 2A. Free is ad-supported: if ads cannot be shown, Free VPN is not available; Premium removes in-app ads. Locations shown in the app are only locations we actually operate. Our Privacy Policy describes operational data we keep and that we do not log browsing history, DNS queries, or traffic content.
We may suspend, throttle, or refuse service to protect the network, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
This section is the precise description of plan limits. The apps do not display a Premium data bar or a Premium gigabyte number.
Free (ad-supported): about 3 Mbps per device; 10 GB of VPN data per UTC calendar month (gibibytes: 10 × 10243 bytes), plus optional rewarded bonus data; a session ends after about 60 minutes; an idle free tunnel may pause after about 20 minutes. If ads cannot be shown, Free is unavailable.
Premium (paid): no Free speed cap, no 10 GB Free cap, and no 60-minute session cut. Premium is subject to a fair-use allowance of 300 GB of VPN data per UTC calendar month per subscription (gibibytes: 300 × 10243 bytes), counting all devices on that purchase together (up to 5 devices). If you exceed that allowance we may throttle that subscription to about 8 Mbps for the rest of the month. We do not hard-cut Premium for ordinary use. We may still suspend or terminate for acceptable-use violations (including BitTorrent / P2P abuse), fraud, or harm to the network. Premium is not a seedbox or an unlimited hosting pipe.
Introductory App Store trials, if offered, are limited to 1 GB while the trial is active.
You must be able to form a binding contract and meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction (and any higher age we specify in the app). You are responsible for your use of the Services and for anyone who uses a device where the app is installed.
Paid features may be offered via in-app purchase through Apple or Google Play, or via our website using Stripe Payment Links keyed to your device identifier. In-app purchases are also subject to Apple’s or Google’s terms and refund rules. Website purchases are charged by Stripe and granted on our servers for that device identifier. You are responsible for security of your device and store account. An Apple or Google account is used only as the store requires; we do not require a separate Baguette account.
Your use of our software is governed by these Terms and any license granted by Apple for app distribution. We may require updates to continue using the Services.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software solely to access the Services, subject to these Terms. You may not resell, sublicense, or provide the Service as a commercial VPN to others.
You agree to use the Services only in compliance with applicable law. You will not use the Services to:
We may determine abuse in reasonable discretion, suspend or terminate access, and ban an IP address and/or device identifier.
We prohibit using the Services to send or facilitate unsolicited bulk communications, or to operate open relays, botnets, or similar abuse. We may block traffic types that harm shared infrastructure without promising that every protocol is filtered. That includes outbound SMTP on TCP ports 25 and 587 (so you should use your provider’s submission port 465 or a webmail app), common BitTorrent ports on all exits (Free and Premium), and per-device connection-rate limits intended to reduce scanning, flooding, and aggressive scraping. Encrypted peer-to-peer on random high ports cannot be fully blocked without inspecting your traffic, which we do not do.
We do not offer a BitTorrent or P2P product. Free does not receive dedicated exits intended for video apps. We do not inspect the contents of your tunnel. We cooperate with valid lawful process. Report abuse to contact@ccll-digital.com.
We do not host your files or websites. Traffic through the VPN is transient. If you believe material is being infringed by someone using the Services, send a notice to contact@ccll-digital.com with:
We may forward notices, retain records as required, suspend or terminate repeat infringers, and take other steps we believe are required by law. We are a conduit for user traffic, not the publisher of that traffic.
We encrypt the hop between your device and our network. We do not guarantee access to any third-party website, app, catalog, or service, including video apps, banks, or video-calling apps. Those parties may block or limit VPN or datacenter IP addresses. When we operate a dedicated Premium exit, Free does not use that address. We may replace a Premium exit if it is listed; that is an operational effort, not a promise that any catalog will work. Do not buy Premium solely because you expect a specific streaming service to play.
Video calls and streaming quality also depend on your local network, the remote service, and server load. Premium removes our free-tier speed and data caps and, when configured, uses a separate exit; it does not control the rest of the internet.
In-app prices (Apple App Store, and Google Play when the Android app is listed) are as shown at checkout. Localized store prices may differ. Our USD list prices are:
Apple does not offer a two-year auto-renewable in-app subscription. On our website only (Stripe, not shown inside the apps), we may also offer:
Store subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Website Stripe subscriptions renew according to the Stripe checkout you completed. The 24-hour pass does not auto-renew unless checkout says otherwise.
Paid plans bought in the Apple app are Apple in-app purchases under Apple’s Media Services Terms. Apple processes and decides those refunds (we do not send cash, PayPal, or leftover-month credits ourselves). Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, or email contact@ccll-digital.com within 30 days of a monthly or yearly charge and we will help you file the request. We cannot guarantee Apple will approve a refund. This does not limit rights you have under Apple’s terms or applicable consumer law.
Plans bought on our website with Stripe are refunded by us through Stripe when the request is accepted. Email contact@ccll-digital.com within 30 days of the charge. A Stripe refund ends Premium on our servers for that device identifier.
Repeated refunds on the same Apple purchase in a short period may be reviewed. A refund or revocation from Apple ends Premium on our servers for that purchase.
To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for loss, corruption, alteration, or removal of content transmitted using the Services, or for third-party blocking of VPN addresses.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, leak-proof in every failure mode, or compatible with any particular third-party app.
We are a Hong Kong company. We comply with lawful process we validly receive. We do not claim immunity from any court or authority. We cannot produce browsing or DNS logs we do not keep. See the Privacy Policy.
If you are located in the United States, you and CCLL agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access to the Services. You waive any right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative proceedings where such waiver is permitted by law.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing contact@ccll-digital.com with the subject line “Arbitration opt-out,” your name, and a clear statement that you opt out.
If you are outside the United States, mandatory consumer protections in your country may apply where they cannot be waived.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CCLL and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD 50).
You will defend and indemnify CCLL against claims arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, risk to the Services or others, or as required by law. We may ban IP addresses and device identifiers. Fees already paid through Apple are subject to Apple’s rules.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply, and U.S. users are also subject to Section 16 (arbitration) where it is enforceable. These Terms are the entire agreement regarding the Services. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. The Services are operated by CCLL Digital Limited, Hong Kong.
